lyrics

Do your teeth detect it, can they pass the feeling on? The sadness in your banter, the numbness in your tongue? and will the ears upon them be, aware to what is wrong, and hear the bitter words you speak, that never touch your tongue?

But where can we direct it, the words between the lines? The blues within the melody, the salt within the wine? The stoppers in the bottle but the sugar's turned to brine. Our cup it runneth over but, our souls are left so dry.

The stoppers in the bottle but the sugar's turned to brine.
