lyrics

I have suffered every drop of wisdom that makes the rings inside me weigh me down, and I have seen above the crowns of heaven, but I prefer the comfort of the ground.

This forest, the gods have forgotten. The dwellers inside decay with stone. The dirt and the soil, forgotten forever, the wind at night calls back their moans.

Our wrinkles jagged, the light defines them, our shadows cast a sickly shade. And every morning, we find out sadness, to see how much we've been unmade.

I have suffered every drop of wisdom that makes the rings inside me weigh me down, and I have seen above the crowns of heaven, but I prefer the comfort of the ground.

There is no light, there is no light, will ever be our saving grace, it will not let this forest live, it will not let us, but night would.

I have suffered every drop of wisdom that makes the rings inside me weigh me down, and I have seen above the crowns of heaven, but I prefer the comfort of the ground.
